Ray Beck, Ed.D.,Ray Beck, Ed.D.,
is a senior consultant for Cambium Learning Sopris West. He has authored and directed two programs—Basic Skill Builders and RIDE®—that have been validated by the U.S. Department of Education. He previously worked as a school psychologist, director of special education, and president of the Montana Council for Exceptional Children and the Montana Association of School Psychologists.
Debra Berlin, M.S.,Debra Berlin, M.S.,
is a former elementary, middle, and high school teacher for special education students and underachieving children in content-area and reading classrooms. David BradburnDavid Bradburn
has worked in the field of assistive and educational technology since 1984 and specializes in solutions that positively impact the academic performance of struggling students, especially those with mild to moderate disabilities. Bradburn is also president of Learning Disabilities Worldwide, a nonprofit organization, and director of Strategic Partnerships for Cambium Learning Technologies.
Gloria D. Campbell-Whatley, Ed.D.,Gloria D. Campbell-Whatley, Ed.D.,
is an associate professor of education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her areas of expertise are special education and infusing diversity into higher education and K–12 curriculum. Also a presenter and author, Campbell-Whatley offers solutions for behavior problems and provides social skills training in public schools.
James Childs, M.Div., M.A.,James Childs, M.Div., M.A.,
is a consultant and facilitator in the areas of diversity, leadership training, conflict resolution, and mediation. In addition, he has extensive experience working with adolescents in a variety of training and counseling positions. Childs is a motivational speaker and presenter for all age groups, from school-age children to adults.
Michele Douglass, Ph.D.,Michele Douglass, Ph.D.,
serves as an educational consultant to school districts and businesses on effective curriculum alignment, pedagogy, systems analysis, and staff development. She is nationally known for her deep understanding of how students perceive mathematical concepts and what it takes to create an effective learning environment.
Tom Jenkins, Ed.D.,Tom Jenkins, Ed.D.,
has been working in, researching, writing about, and providing training for RtI for the past 12 years. He is the author of When a Child Struggles in School, which provides a user-friendly explanation of the traditional standardized testing process and RtI for educators and parents.
Sandra G. Kelly, M.Ed.,Sandra G. Kelly, M.Ed.,
is an educational consultant to school districts on effective reading and writing instruction, classroom management, and design of effective literacy programs. She is nationally known for her work with literacy intervention programs and has done extensive work in the areas of teacher training and program development in general and special education.
Stevan J. Kukic, Ph.D.,Stevan J. Kukic, Ph.D.,
is vice president of Strategic Education Initiatives for Cambium Learning Sopris West. Previously, he was a consultant for Franklin Covey® and state director of At-Risk and Special Education Services for Utah. Kukic is a past president of the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE).
Tina PelletierTina Pelletier
draws on more than 20 years of experience in the literacy field as a teacher, mentor, reading specialist, curriculum leader, and adjunct university faculty member. She has extensive experience as a curriculum consultant and staff development coordinator.

is an award-winning educator with 30 years of experience as a classroom teacher, staff development instructor, and university professor. She connects with audiences through research-based theory, poignant stories, and hilarious characterizations.

is president of Walker Educational Consulting Inc., a company specializing in work with teachers and parents, and is educational consultant to the National Professionals’ Consortium on Attention Deficit Disorders. He began his education career as a classroom teacher and has taught in a wide variety of settings at both elementary and secondary levels.
